7950 W. Preece Drive is a next step in Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity’s housing developments. This will be a model community of 16 townhomes, with a mix of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units and amenities such as a playground. This development is a buffer between the commercial property to the west (Home Depot) and the development to the east (Imperial Acres #2 Sub), with 1/3 to 1/2 acre lots.
The acquisition of this 2.33 acre property was made through a $528,000 HOME grant awarded by the City of Boise. The engineering; infrastructure construction and off-sites will cost approximately $300,000. The construction of the homes themselves will be done utilizing private donations and sponsorships.
