Wow! Awesome! What a thrill! So exciting! Breathtaking! Unique experience! Count me in for next year! Those are comments we heard from participants in this year’s Over the Edge for Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, September 23.
There is no doubt that rappelling 270 feet down the US Bank Building is the Treasure Valley’s most unique, one-of-a-kind fundraising experience. Participants raised thousands of dollars to help us continue to build decent, affordable housing right here in Ada County.
Onlookers were in awe watching the rappelers in action and candidly many of them were caught off guard wondering what was going on with people ("edgers") coming down the tallest building in Idaho.
We are grateful to all our participants and our deepest appreciation to those who graciously gave of their time as volunteers to make this happen…all of you made our community an even better place in which to live.
Plans for our 3rd annual Over the Edge, scheduled for September 22, 2018, are underway and we invite your input and participation. Please direct your comments/suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
