Habitat Welcomes New Development Director

Donya Webb has joined Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity as Development Director. In this role Donya will be responsible for fundraising and events in support of the BVHfH Mission. Donya’s extensive non-profit experience includes 22 years with the YMCA of Greater Long Beach (CA) where she held positions of Executive Director and Vice-President of Development. The YMCA of Greater Long Beach serves over 38,000 people in Long Beach and 11 partner cities. Her development work included a $13,000,000 Capital Campaign, development and implementation of the Y’s Planned Giving program, and a variety of special events. Since moving to Idaho, Donya has held development positions with The Idaho Foodbank and The Salvation Army. In addition to her in-depth experience Donya’s qualifications also include a Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management and a Master’s degree in Strategic Fundraising & Philanthropy.

At BVHfH, Donya will oversee all fundraising programs and the management of special events including “Evening in the Garden”. Donya has been asked to broaden BVHfH fundraising to include a comprehensive individual giving program and expansion of corporate giving.

Donya has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. She and her husband, John Petti, recently moved to Meridian.
