ReStore | Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity

Two locations to serve you.

The driving force behind our impact.

Your support can make a difference.

Our ReStores are nonprofit thrift stores that accept donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home decor, and building supplies.

When possible, donated building materials are used to build and preserve Habitat homes. Extra building materials, furniture, appliances, and other items are sold to the public at more than 50% off retail prices.

Each donation and purchase makes a big difference toward the mission of Habitat for Humanity: to build homes, community and hope. But the impact goes far beyond.

Your partnership builds homes.

As a fundraiser for Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity, ReStore relies on volunteers to help operate the business. ReStore staff provides training to all volunteers. No previous experience is needed and all volunteers are welcome. Minimum age requirements for ReStore volunteers are in place to ensure safety. Volunteers 18 years of age and older are welcome. There is no upper age limit for volunteers. Please inform us of any physical limitations you have so that we can assure you are safe and comfortable when you work with us.

ReStore operates on volunteer power. ReStore is very flexible about volunteer schedules; you may work as many or as few hours as you like, on a regular schedule or on an occasional basis. Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and neat work clothes. We promise a positive and rewarding experience in an upbeat, positive, and friendly atmosphere. Each volunteer makes an important contribution to our efforts to eliminate poverty housing in Ada County, helping to meet Habitat for Humanity’s goal of assuring that all people have a simple, decent place to live.
